Job summary

Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital is seeking a part-time inventory associate to oversee departmental stock. You will manage par levels, organize supplies, and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery and accurate records. Shift Tue–Sat, 7:00am–12:00pm, at the American Fork location.

The role requires healthcare supplies experience, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail, with daily use of WR and Excel tools and pallet handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Six months of related materials management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly and follow instructions.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, reports and similar objects.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.
• Experience in healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inventory control on stock and non-stock items for assigned units and par levels.
• Keeps supplies binned and organized for efficient access.
• Acts as liaison between Supply Chain and the assigned department or facility.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicates supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to staff.
• Troubleshoots issues for problem resolution and maintains records.
• Manages Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, location maintenance, delivery, labeling, and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors on-hand quantity and reconciles discrepancies.
• Uses SCIS for distribution, inventory, receiving, and reports in line with audits.
• Ensures compliance with policy and SOPs.
• Reviews daily/weekly/monthly reports for locations.
