Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital in Utah is seeking an Inventory Specialist to oversee day-to-day materials management for assigned departments. You will ensure supplies, linens, and equipment are stocked and ready for clinical use, coordinating with Supply Chain and department staff.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, par level management, and use of the SCIS system, with a 40-hour work week and a daytime shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Qualifikationen

• Six Months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow instructions.
• Experience with basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, email, scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, and reports.
• Experience handling healthcare supplies.

Aufgaben

• Oversees inventory control for stock and non-stock items.
• Keeps supplies binned and organized; liaises between Supply Chain and department.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicates about supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation.
• Manages Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors on-hand quantities and resolves discrepancies.
• Uses SCIS for distribution, receiving, and reporting per regulations.
• Ensures compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports for locations.
