Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital in Utah is seeking an inventory coordinator to oversee inventory management for assigned departments, ensuring medical products, linens, and equipment are stocked and ready for clinical use. Schedule: Tue–Sat; Hours: 6:00am–2:30pm; 40 hours weekly.

You will manage par levels, replenishment, location maintenance, and Kanban visuals; coordinate with Supply Chain, monitor on-hand quantities, and use SCIS for distribution, receiving, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Six Months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly and follow instructions.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, and reports; use pallet jack and similar equipment.
• Experience with healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory control on stock and non-stock items for assigned units; keeps supplies organized.
• Orders and delivers supplies for the department using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicates supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to department staff.
• Manages Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, Label maintenance and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors on-hand quantities and reconciles discrepancies.
• Utilizes the SCIS system for distribution, receiving, reports, and departmental files.
• Ensures compliance with policy and SOPs.
• Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports for assigned locations.
