Responsibilities

• Receive all food and supply items for dietary department according to department standards.
• Store all foods correctly, including rotating stock, organizing stock areas and checking for out dated stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all food storage and receiving areas.
• Dispense food and supplies to cooks, cafeteria, and patient care units, according to standards.
• Review invoices for correct pricing, reconcile invoices, and process for Accounts Payable.
• Take physical inventory and places orders for food or supplies, as directed by Supervisor Production.
