Job summary

St James Hospital in Butte, MT seeks an Inventory Management professional for full-time, 40 hours/week, 7:00am-3:30pm OR 6:00am-2:30pm with no weekends or holidays. You will oversee par levels, Kanban visuals, and distribution of medical supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure readiness for patient care.

Responsibilities include using SCIS/WMS systems, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with Supply Chain and departments, and ensuring policy compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Six Months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand customer communications.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment (e.g., hand truck, carts).
• Experience in a role working with healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inventory control on stock and non-stock items for assigned units.
• Keeps supplies binned and organized; liaises between Supply Chain and departments.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate technology, systems, and suppliers.
• Communicates information concerning supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation.
• Monitors Par Location Management, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, and Kanban visuals.
• Reviews daily/weekly/monthly reports for assigned locations.
