Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking an Inventory Management professional to oversee supplies, par levels, and distribution to ensure clinical readiness across departments. You will manage daily stock, coordinate with Supply Chain, and maintain Kanban visuals using the SCIS system.

Qualifications

• Six months of related materials management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly and follow instructions.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, and reports.
• Experience using pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.
• Experience in healthcare supplies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control for stock and non-stock items and set par levels.
• Keep supplies binned and organized across departments.
• Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and assigned department or facility.
• Order and deliver supplies using appropriate systems and vendors.
• Communicate information regarding supply levels, new products, and standardization.
• Troubleshoot issues for problem resolution.
• Manage Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, and Kanban visuals.
• Monitor on-hand quantities and reconcile discrepancies.
• Utilize the SCIS system to manage distribution, receiving, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with policy and SOPs; review daily/weekly/monthly reports.
