Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Manager 1 for Inventory Control and Analysis at The James Cancer Hospital. You will supervise lean supply operations, coordinating orders, receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment across OSU health locations.

You will lead the Materials Management team, coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving process improvements and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, materials management, logistics, healthcare operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of lean supply support system for clinical areas within The James and other OSU locations.
• Oversee daily operations: ordering, receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplies throughout the Health System.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for the Materials Management team.
• Foster positive vendor and internal relations and act as a frontline problem solver.
