Job summary

The Ohio State University, James Cancer Hospital, is seeking a Manager 1, Inventory Control and Analysis to supervise the Materials Management team and oversee the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment across the James location. You will drive lean processes and partner with clinical areas to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities include guiding staff performance, managing relationships with vendors, and serving as a technical expert in supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations.
• Experience in inventory management, materials management, logistics, healthcare operations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the James Materials and Equipment Management team, overseeing ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain Lean supply processes and workflows to ensure timely delivery across the Health System.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management, including P3 reviews and staff development.
• Foster vendor relationships and act as frontline problem solver for internal departments.
