Job summary

Availity is seeking a Solutions Architect focused on strategic healthcare interoperability and workflow transformation. The role translates business needs into Availity capabilities and designs scalable architectures across payer, provider, and Health IT ecosystems.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Customer Success to drive pipeline growth and technical wins while aligning with customer environments and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare interoperability and API-driven workflows.
• Strong ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and X12 transactions.
• Experience presenting to CIOs and Enterprise Architects and leading discovery.
• Experience integrating with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business and technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Design solution architectures leveraging Availity Extend, FHIR APIs, and workflow automation.
• Present value-driven recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Product, and Delivery teams to accelerate wins.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable design and future-state workflows.
• Act as a trusted advisor on interoperability and technology transformation initiatives.
