Labcorp is seeking an Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit Department. Located in Burlington or Durham, NC with a hybrid work schedule.

This 11-week paid internship runs June 1, 2027 to August 13, 2027, offering hands-on project work and exposure to Labcorp's global operations. Minimum qualifications include current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program and studying Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields, with proficiency in Word/Excel and data analytics tools

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally within the Internal Audit Department and with process owners.
• Contribute during audit engagements and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Objectively evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in the internal control structure.
• Perform data analysis to summarize large data sets and present relevant aspects.
• Verify processes and controls are effective in managing risks.
