Job summary

Commure is seeking an experienced integrations engineer to design and implement end-to-end data exchanges between our platform and 40+ EMRs. The role is hybrid, based in Mountain View, three days on-site per week, and involves collaborating with product, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, reliable integrations.

You will own integration workflows, optimize performance, and drive architecture improvements while complying with healthcare standards and data security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven track record of end-to-end solution design and architecture decisions
• Backend proficiency in Python, Go, or C++
• Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational DBs, monitoring/alerting tools
• Frontend proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex integration solutions between our platform and third-party healthcare systems (EHRs, insurers)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and priorities
• Own end-to-end integration workflows from design to deployment and monitoring
• Identify performance bottlenecks and improve reliability in production
• Ensure HIPAA, HL7, FHIR compliance and collaborate with security teams
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in integration development
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, error handling, and monitoring improvements
