Job summary

Inovalon, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer to design and develop product training. You will maintain Inovalon’s training standards for customers, partners, and employees, selecting audience-appropriate methods and tools to ensure high-quality materials.

You will work with subject matter experts to create engaging content, evaluate training effectiveness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and brand guidelines. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 2+ years in content development or instructional design.
• Experience applying adult learning theory and best practices.
• Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities

• Outline course concepts, delivery medium, assessments, and supporting materials.
• Define program schedules, work effort estimates, and track progress.
• Create instructional design for CBTs, live training, job aids, and visuals.
• Consult with stakeholders to develop engaging, interactive content.
• Ensure materials meet brand and marketing standards.
• Evaluate curricula to maintain consistency and best practices.
• Develop methods to measure training effectiveness and report results.
• Aid analysis of operations for performance improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and learning tools.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality as required.
