Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager Information Services to lead the design, deployment, and ongoing support of critical healthcare applications. You will mentor IS staff, guide projects, and drive process improvements across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day operations, managing a team, budgeting, and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. Travel and occasional extended hours may be required in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and managing multi-million-dollar departmental budgets.
• Strong knowledge of major healthcare information systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, manages, and reports day-to-day operations to support planning and prioritization of work.
• Manages a full workload across multiple projects and leads a team.
• Recruits, onboards, trains, mentors, and develops direct reports.
• Conducts performance reviews for direct reports.
• Manages assigned staff time and payroll.
• May travel to perform duties.
• May work outside normal hours.
• Other related duties as assigned.
