Job summary

GRMC Information Security is seeking a diligent IT Information Security professional to enforce security policies, assign user entitlements, review audit logs, educate users, and perform ad-hoc monitoring. The role supports management in designing application security matrices and strengthens healthcare data protections.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience with Windows environments and security/audit practices; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated coaching, staff training and team leadership skills
• Knowledge of healthcare and accounting information systems preferred
• Working knowledge of computer applications in a MS Windows environment
• Computer Security/audit certification preferred
• Prior healthcare environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Enforces the hospital’s information security policy via assignment of user’s application entitlements
• Reviews application audit logs
• Educates users and performs ad-hoc inspection/monitoring activities
• Assists management in the design of application security matrices
