Job summary

VC5 Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Security Manager in Houston to lead the deployment and ongoing operation of enterprise security solutions. The role focuses on identity access management, multi-factor authentication, SSO, and endpoint security in a healthcare setting.

You will partner with compliance teams to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance while strengthening access controls, RBAC, and overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years in application security, cybersecurity, access management, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools, especially Okta.
• Knowledge of SOX controls, segregation of duties, and financial application security; HIPAA in healthcare.

• Manage the implementation and daily operations of IT security solutions, including IAM and multifactor authentication.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SOX regulations and support audit requirements.
