Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking an Informatics Manager to design, develop, and maintain data solutions in Google Cloud Platform and Python, enabling the migration and modernization of HEDIS data workflows. You will lead data ingestion, validation, and reporting to support quality measurement and regulatory reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical informatics, proficient SQL and Python skills, and experience with large healthcare datasets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical informatics, healthcare analytics, or clinical data management.
• 5+ years experience coding in SQL and Python with large-scale healthcare datasets.
• Familiar with clinical data types and structures (CCD, lab results, notes, administrative data).
• Ability to support downstream data consumers via documentation, training, and consultancy.
• Familiar with cloud-based data platforms, preferably GCP tools including BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in clinical data and its structuring for healthcare problems.
• Develop analytics by building validated data assets (tables, views, features) for analysts and data scientists.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation (data dictionaries, lineage, logic, limitations).
• Build queries, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate data quality and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ingest, transform, and store clinical data for downstream analytics.
• Lead data migration efforts to modernize informatics systems and support HEDIS data workflow.
