Job summary

ThedaCare in Appleton, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This full-time, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week with benefits.

You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and building infrastructure, inspect equipment, respond to facility needs, and help ensure safety and reliability across our hospital campus. Training and mentorship for colleagues are available as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year of technical/trade school training or one year of experience in maintenance or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to facility needs promptly to maintain safety and service.
• Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to determine status.
• Identify malfunctions and recommend repairs within a maintenance program.
• Mentor/coach other technicians within the department.
• Maintain HVAC systems, replace filters/belts/coils and clean equipment.
• Order parts and maintain required documents.
• Attend trainings to maintain qualifications.
