Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including Direct Expansion and chilled water systems, cooling towers, water coolers, and related equipment.

You will also perform basic facility repairs, read blueprints, and follow NFPA Life Safety codes in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and documentation in the CMMS system.

Qualifications

• Two years of HVAC field experience required.
• Familiarity with codes and life safety in healthcare environments.
• EPA 608 certification upon hire; 4th class stationary engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily repairs: respond to service requests and project work orders.
• Execute preventative maintenance and document results in CMMS.
• Conduct space tours and identify repairs; notify supervisor for follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor; weekend/on-call work.
