Job summary

VGS is seeking an HVAC Mechanic with healthcare facility experience to maintain and repair HVACR systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related controls. Responsibilities include BAS/DDC monitoring, diagnostic troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, NATE/EPA certifications, and a valid driver's license. On-site work in healthcare environments with on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Healthcare HVACR systems knowledge and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with BAS/DDC for monitoring and adjustments.
• Safety and regulatory compliance focus (ICRA, LOTO, PPE).
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities for HVACR equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and operation of facility HVACR systems.
• Monitor BAS/DDC equipment, respond to alarms, analyze trends.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures and perform repairs.
• Document work in CMMS and ensure regulatory compliance.
