Job summary

Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking an HRIS Analyst to support and maintain HRIS and related applications. You will serve as a technical resource, ensure data integrity, run ad hoc reports, and assist with system improvements across Lawson/Infor, UKG and benefits modules.

The role emphasizes data analysis to optimize HR operations, requires strong Excel skills, and collaboration with HR, payroll, benefits and IT teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, CS or related field required.
• 2-4 years of experience in an HRIS role supporting HR, Benefits and Payroll applications (Lawson/Infor).
• Experience with implementations and/or upgrades of HR/Payroll systems (Lawson/Infor/Workday).
• Strong Excel and data integrity focus; comfortable with reporting and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HRIS functional team expert for HR, Benefits, Leaves and Payroll components.
• Investigate and analyze system problems and implement solutions with clients and IT.
• Maintain HRIS configuration tables (Infor/Lawson, UKG, Benefits) to ensure accurate data entry.
• Assist in identifying and resolving payroll/pay data issues; monitor error reports across departments.
• Upload mass data changes and run ad hoc and scheduled processes; create standard reports.
• Develop and maintain HRIS procedures and advocate data integrity across systems.
• Participate in small to medium projects from conception to implementation and training of super users.
