Job summary

Skywood Recovery Center in Augusta, MI is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to align business objectives with employees and facility leadership. This role acts as a consultant to management on HR issues, champions employees, and partners with the CEO to support staffing and compliance.

Core duties include developing HR policies, investigating employee relations concerns, managing recruitment, maintaining records, ensuring wage and hour compliance, and collaborating with facility leadership on

Qualifications

• Position requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.
• Healthcare experience or co-occurring disorders is a plus.
• PHR or SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and administer HR policies and procedures.
• Respond to employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide recommendations.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues with leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee recruitment to ensure adequate staffing and patient safety.
• Maintain position control and staffing plans with facility leadership.
• Monitor compensation equity and wage/hour compliance.
• Maintain HR files to ensure regulatory compliance.
