Job summary

Genesys Health Alliance is hiring a Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The hybrid role combines remote work with on-site presence at our Cartersville, GA office.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in HR/related field and 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong grasp of federal and state employment laws. Responsibilities include benefits, leave programs, and policy development across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
• Experience as HR Manager/Generalist/Business Partner or similar role.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, policy development, and recordkeeping.
• SHRM- or SPHR-certified candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and leave management.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and HR records.
• Support HR needs across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and job descriptions.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics.
• Promote a respectful, professional workplace culture.
