Job summary

Forefront Healthcare in Billings, MT is seeking an HR Leader to drive people operations within a healthcare environment. You will respond to HR inquiries, support performance management, and guide recruitment, onboarding, and background checks to build a strong team.

You will maintain personnel records, coordinate training, and produce regular HR reports while partnering with payroll, benefits, and other departments to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR teams in healthcare or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Ability to manage payroll and benefits records.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and provide policy, benefit and payroll information.
• Assist supervisors in performance management and evaluation processes.
• Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate team member.
• Conduct investigations and research as needed.
• Support recruitment and hiring by sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates) and ensure employment requirements are met.
• Liaise with payroll, benefits and other departments.
• Assist background checks and issuing offers.
• Participate in employee engagement efforts.
• Schedule meetings, interviews and training sessions; assist onboarding and update records.
• Produce reports on general HR activity and support ad-hoc HR projects.

• Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
• Conducts investigations and research as needed
• Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates
• Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
• Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
• Assist in background checks, issuing offer letters etc.
• Participates in employee engagement efforts.
• Schedule meetings, interviews, and coordinate training sessions and seminars
• Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
• Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
• Support other functions as assigned

Salary Range $60,000-$65,000
