Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lufkin is seeking a dedicated HR Director to lead administrative, recruitment and retention activities. You will oversee payroll processing, benefits enrollment, orientation, and training while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, EEOC and applicable laws.

The role involves maintaining personnel records, coordinating performance reviews, and supporting risk management within a hospital setting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in administrative, recruitment and retention activities.
• Payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Knowledge of employee benefits enrollment and administration.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (Joint Commission, EEOC, Federal and State).

Aufgaben

• Interprets hospital policies and communicates information to staff through notices and channels.
• Coordinates recruitment, interviewing and placement; posts ads and screens candidates.
• Maintains central personnel files and records for active/inactive employees.
• Processes new hires, terminations and changes; coordinates orientations and trainings.
• Ensures employees meet licensure and required training, including CPR and de-escalation programs.
• Manages performance appraisal and competency evaluation systems; assists with discipline.
• Maintains payroll records; processes payroll with 100% accuracy; handles PTO and adjustments.
• Coordinates benefit programs and open enrollments; disseminates information to staff.
• Maintains workers' compensation records and interfaces with insurer as needed.
• Spearheads engagement and retention strategies aligned with company mission.
