Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years of healthcare experience required.
• Familiar with hospital organization and department functions; familiarity with policies, training methods, and job analysis.
• Labor market laws, wage/hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour regulations.
• Familiar with Joint Commission and HFAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and supervises HR programs related to selection, training, promotion, welfare and other employer/employee relationships.
• Interviews applicants; develops personnel record forms; resolves disputes and recommends disciplinary actions.
• Analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs.
• Administers employee welfare and recreation services; advises executives on personnel implications of policies and proposed changes.
