Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta seeks an on-site Human Resources Coordinator to support caregivers, leaders, and operations while partnering with our HR Shared Services team. This is a hands-on, hospital-based role at the Augusta campus, providing comprehensive HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field and 2 years of HR experience; healthcare HR experience and familiarity with benefits and payroll are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with the approval of Corporate HR.
• 2 years Human Resources experience required.
• Healthcare HR experience preferred.
• Familiarity with benefits, payroll, and Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle
• Partner closely with HR Shared Services to deliver seamless support in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration
• Serve as a trusted advisor and service-oriented resource for employees and leaders
• Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity
• Drive and support talent acquisition efforts, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning support
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards
• Act as the local subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes
• Support employee relations needs with professionalism, discretion, and consistency
• Play an active role in building and sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture
• Contribute insights that help shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level
