Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of West Memphis is seeking an on-site HR Assistant to support the HR Manager, leadership team, and staff. The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, records maintenance, benefits, and compliance in a behavioral health hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years in HR (healthcare preferred), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG preferred). This is an on-site, non-hybrid position in West Memphis, AR.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, preferably UKG.

Responsabilidades

• Provides on-site HR support to the facility.
• Assists in preparing personnel-related documents for Joint Commission surveys.
• Assists in recruiting for vacancies, including interviewing, job placement, and conducting new employee orientation.
• Maintains employee files in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State guidelines.
• Ensures license verifications are completed as scheduled.
• Reviews and updates employee education files, audits personnel files, and keeps information current.
• Coordinates onboarding and ensures background checks and onboarding docs are completed prior to orientation.
• Conducts employee benefit orientation and assists with benefit enrollment when eligible.
• Reports personnel issues to the HR Manager and supports management with employee relations.
• Maintains accurate job descriptions and consults on changes or new descriptions.
• Completes employment verifications for current and former employees.
