Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Technician – Gray Birch to join our patient-centered housekeeping team at the Augusta long-term care facility. You will clean patient rooms and other areas daily, including trash, laundry, linens and sanitization; follow isolation protocols and stock supplies in patient rooms as required.

You will transport furniture and equipment as needed and maintain carts in clean condition for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and work beside staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including trash, laundry, sharps, linens and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stock paper items and supplies in patient rooms as necessary.
• Transport furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store properly after shift.
