Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee support services in healthcare facilities. You will coordinate frontline staff and serve as a liaison between administration and units to deliver top service.

Essential duties include staffing plans, hiring and training, staff development, inspections, monthly goal reporting, and coordinating external services. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 4 years of related experience and supervisory background.

Qualifications

• 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service field with high customer contact.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing environment.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and review standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assist in hiring; interview, hire and train new associates.
• Orient and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conduct inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
• Provide monthly reporting of goals and plans.
• Coordinate external services (e.g., pest control, window cleaning).
