Job summary

Huntingdon Park Nursing Home in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Aide to perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and disinfecting, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

You will work throughout the facility, assist in evacuation if needed, and must read, write and speak English; the job requires lifting up to 30 lbs and moving residents as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist in evacuations.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and in other roles as needed.
• Prior healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties (dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, cleaning, mopping).
• Maintain clean, attractive facility in compliance with standards.
• Work across the facility including resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow policies including harassment and complaint procedures.
