The role includes cleaning rooms and common areas, floor care, and keeping supplies stocked, with strict adherence to infection control and safety standards. A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
• Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Perform routine floor care duties: sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Operate housekeeping and floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate department.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
