Job summary

Confluence Health in Washington seeks a full-time float position to provide coverage across primary and specialty care departments. The primary work location is Moses Lake Clinic, with occasional coverage at Ephrata and Royal City clinics.

Core schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional evenings or weekend shifts in the Walk-In Clinic, and a $1/hour float differential. The role involves greeting patients, directing staff, scheduling, handling co-pays, and ensuring accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner, prepares patient information for the visit and coordinates with providers for efficient flow.
• Schedules, cancels and reschedules appointments; uses waitlist to fill openings.
• Answers telephone and provides outstanding customer service for every encounter.
• Verifies accurate billing, demographic, and insurance information at every encounter.
• Collects co-pays and payments, explains policies and balances owing.
• Maintains active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Balance a cash drawer and perform elementary math functions.
