Job summary

Peak Behavioral Health in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls on the switchboard, route messages, and provide basic clerical support to staff.

This on-site, full-time role requires a High School diploma and strong communication skills, with at least one year of related experience preferred. You will handle mail, deliveries, visitor logs, and assist with various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates switchboard, answers, transfers, and disseminates calls professionally and takes messages.
• Pages individuals via central paging system per hospital policy.
• Greets visitors, vendors and guests and registers them in the visitor log.
• Provides assistance to patients and employees (e.g., changes, valuables, meal tickets, postage).
• Sorts and delivers mail; handles incoming/outgoing mail timely.
• Maintains courtesy and provides general facility information.
• Maintains petty cash and receipts; processes cash receipts with G/L coding.
• Performs data entry and provides clerical support to other departments.
