Allied Universal® in Boston, MA is seeking a Security Officer Building Entry Desk to provide a professional front desk presence, manage access, and deliver excellent customer service at a healthcare location. The role operates on a full-time daytime schedule and offers the opportunity to join a leading security team.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted according to applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access, verify visitor credentials, issue passes, and maintain records in accordance with site policies.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, greet guests, provide directions, and communicate information to staff.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate responders as directed.
• Report unusual conditions or access concerns to leadership and site management.
