Texas Health Care PLCC in Fort Worth is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support a busy interventional pain medicine practice. You will greet patients, collect and enter information, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and assist with procedures.

Candidates must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or transcript, and experience with NextGen EHR/EMR is highly preferred. Strong typing, math skills, and familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding are essential in a fast-paced

Formación

• Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript.
• NextGen EHR and previous work with an interventional pain medicine office are a plus.
• Excellent people and telephone skills and familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and various insurance plans.
• You must have excellent typing and math skills, ten-key by touch, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
• NextGen EPM/EMR experience is A+.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and enter new patient information.
• Check patients in and out; verify insurance coverage.
• Answer telephones and schedule appointments on the computer.
• Collect co-payments and assist with procedures.
• Clean and stock rooms; handle refills and pre-certs.
• Room patients and schedule procedures; assist with lab work.
• Document in EHR; perform various clinical duties as needed.
