Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Niceville, FL is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our outpatient physical therapy clinic. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, check in/out, verify benefits, collect copays, and maintain accurate information in our EMR system.

This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay ($17–$22) with monthly bonus opportunities, plus benefits including employer-paid dental, vision, life, LTD

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, Patient Service Representative, Medical Office Assistant, or similar customer service role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and EMR/EHR systems.
• Positive attitude with attention to detail.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with a warm, professional attitude.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out efficiently.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Collect copays and patient balances.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR system.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions.
• Help keep provider schedules organized and running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office.
