Orionplacement is seeking a licensed California attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join our healthcare fraud practice in Newport Beach. You will analyze claims data, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and develop litigation strategies under senior attorneys.

You must hold a Juris Doctor and be in good standing with the State Bar of California. The role offers hands-on ownership, complex case exposure, and the opportunity to handle high-stakes disputes from inception

Qualificações

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Active California Bar license with no public disciplinary history.
• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to understand and manage complex, data-intensive records.
• Comfortable taking significant responsibility and working directly with senior attorneys.
• Experience or strong interest in healthcare fraud, insurance fraud, False Claims Act, qui tam, or complex civil litigation.
• Deposition experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate healthcare billing practices, insurance claims, and alleged fraud schemes.
• Analyze claims data and large volumes of supporting documentation.
• Develop compelling case theories and litigation strategies from complex factual records.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and take depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and experts.
• Organize high-volume evidence into claim matrices, analytical spreadsheets, and summaries.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness outlines, exhibits, and case themes.
• Communicate directly with clients, investigators, and government entities.
