Job summary

OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team in Seattle is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end deployments of our healthcare AI models. You will translate complex healthcare workflows into production systems, collaborate with customer teams, and ensure PHI, HIPAA, privacy, security, governance, and regulatory controls.

This role is hybrid (3 days in office) with relocation assistance and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• Senior engineer/tech lead experience preferred.
• Hands-on with end-to-end deployment of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution end to end, from customer discovery and workflow scoping through architecture, hands-on implementation, evaluation, production deployment, adoption, and handoff.
