Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a General Manager to oversee the Food & Nutrition Department at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. The role leads multiple contracted services to meet operating and financial goals, with focus on safety and client satisfaction.

The General Manager will build and guide a strong management team, manage budgets with financial controls, and ensure compliance with all regulations and Aramark standards while delivering excellent service to clients and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities or Business Management.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark staff.
• Experience creating and managing a department budget and financial controls.
• Ability to read, understand and implement contractual requirements and identify opportunities within contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services and hands-on management of operations.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location, assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementations for service improvement and growth.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and designs improvements to optimize financial performance.
• Manages compliance with local, state and federal regulations and keeps all records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with Aramark standards of operation, safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.
