Job summary

Oakview Health & Rehab is seeking a diligent housekeeping associate to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients in a nonprofit, mission-driven setting. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, operate housekeeping equipment, and assist in maintaining high standards of facility appearance.

The role supports a compassionate care environment, with weekly pay and benefits such as PTO, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan. Previous experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions.
• Good communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and open communication.
• Contributes to committees, workgroups, and project efforts as needed.
