Job summary

Oakview Health & Rehab in Summerville, GA is seeking a dedicated environmental services associate to maintain clean, safe patient areas. You will sweep, mop, dust, sanitize rooms and common areas, and follow infection control standards while using MSDS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors per center procedure.
• Report to supervisor any carpeted areas needing cleaning or spot removal.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and clean surfaces in patient rooms.
• Clean bathrooms, glass surfaces, and furniture; replenish supplies.
• Move furniture to access hard-to-reach areas and clean behind/under furnishings.
• Follow infection control standards and MSDS guidelines.
• Safely store and safeguard cleaning chemicals and equipment.
