Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Good communication with staff, residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment including buffers and auto scrubbers daily.
• Clean and maintain floor surfaces and carpets.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Assist with cleaning common areas and remove trash.
• Report maintenance problems promptly.
• Move and reposition objects as needed.
