FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking Floor Techs to maintain clean and sanitary environments across our facility. You will operate floor equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, keep hallways and rooms polished, and follow safety and infection control procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Able to operate floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, wet vacs and auto scrubbers.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated floor equipment including auto-scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, carpet extractors to strip, scrub, and wax floors daily or as needed.
• Use automated floor cleaning equipment for cleaning large floor areas according to schedule.
• Follow proper procedures for carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Clean, sweep, vacuum, and polish floors.
