Job summary

Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA is seeking a dedicated AM Floor Tech to maintain floors in patient rooms, hallways, and public spaces. This full-time role supports infection control by cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing floors using a range of floor care equipment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a pay rate of $12.50 per hour; candidates should have a high school diploma and experience with floor care tools; safety protocols, HIPAA

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care, janitorial or environmental services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training in floor care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, and strip floors in patient rooms, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and other spaces.
• Operate floor care equipment (auto-scrubbers, buffers, waxers, vacuums).
• Strip, wax, and polish floors in high-traffic areas.
• Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Inventory and restock cleaning supplies.
