Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Floor Technician in New Orleans to maintain clean, safe, and presentable facility floors. Role includes stripping, waxing, buffing, and routine maintenance within a healthcare setting, supporting housekeeping operations as needed.

The position is full-time and hourly, non-exempt, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Adherence to infection prevention, safety protocols, and department standards is required to ensure high-quality service and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily floor care: sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as assigned.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection prevention, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Report equipment maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work according to departmental checklists and quality standards.
