Lemontree Healthcare Services LLC in Port Arthur, TX, is hiring a Floor Tech for The Med. Ctr. of SE Texas.

The full-time role runs 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a pay rate of $11.00 per hour, and focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all floors across patient care and public areas. You will operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and vacuums, follow safety protocols, and support infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care, janitorial or environmental services preferred.
• Experience using floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, waxers) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, and strip floors in patient rooms, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and other spaces.
• Perform detailed cleaning and maintenance of floors to meet cleanliness and sanitization standards.
• Operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and vacuums.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors in high-traffic areas for a clean, professional appearance.
• Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Inspect floors and report damage or wear to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of floor cleaning supplies and arrange restocking as needed.
• Communicate cleaning schedules and safety measures to staff and visitors.
