Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, and strip floors in patient rooms, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and vacuums to maintain floors in optimal condition.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors in high-traffic areas for a clean, professional appearance.
• Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Inspect floors regularly and report damage or wear to Environmental Services Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of floor cleaning supplies and coordinate timely orders.
