Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain cleanliness and safety of all facility floors in Culver City, CA. The role supports infection control by cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing floors across patient areas, public spaces, and staff areas.

Responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, following safety protocols, and coordinating with Environmental Services to ensure high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred.
• Ability to operate floor care machinery safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, and strip floors in patient rooms, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and other spaces.
• Operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and vacuums.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors in high-traffic areas to maintain appearance.
• Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Inspect floors and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of floor cleaning supplies and equipment.
