Evergreen-Commons-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente is seeking a dependable Floor Care Technician/PM Porter to maintain floors and common areas in our healthcare facility. The role supports resident care by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate will perform daily cleaning, stripping, waxing, burnishing floors, and assist during emergencies while following safety and infection control procedures in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a geriatric healthcare setting.
• Willing to follow safety, infection control, and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning, stripping, waxing, and burnishing of floors.
• Carpet cleaning and pressure washing of shower areas as needed.
• Cleaning elevator tracks and expansion joints.
• Safe operation of floor care equipment and proper chemical usage.
• Maintaining floor care logs and submitting equipment work orders.
• Assisting housekeeping as needed during emergencies.
