Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced financial reporting professional for the strategic cost of care savings program. You will gather data from multiple partners, perform quality checks, analyze data, and deliver an executive leadership report with insights on program impact.

You will develop dashboards, track program outcomes, and provide strategic insights. Strong SAS/SQL/R skills and dashboard experience (Tableau/Power BI) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences or related area.
• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector.
• Preferred: Master's degree in related fields.
• Preferred: Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL) and dashboard experience (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends with executive-ready presentations.
• Extract, summarize and analyze large datasets via SAS, SQL or other similar tools.
• Coordinate savings opportunity projections and post-implementation savings measurements.
• Develop dashboards and reports showing total program impact to the health plan.
• Present analytics insights to key business partners in a clear, concise manner.
